Hello everyone,
Im gonna bid on a commercial remodel, I dont have much experience with commercial work so im trying to get an idea where i should be approximately with my numbers. Its a removal and disposal of existing commercial carpet in 20 offices, what does one usually charge for this?? Then I wanted to suggest to them carpet tiles versus rolls seems its easier to repair and replace squares in case of future damage. Then what about covebase whats the charge also transition pieces?? Sorry last question, what about vct removal and disposal?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Claud

I'd call some local competitors since labor rates vary so much. Check for asbestos in those tiles first.

It Depends what area You are in. I only do Commerical work. I have seen labor rates in Northern NJ, Doubled in the city, Thats why I only work in the city, {working smarter not harder}. Carpet tile is so the way to go, If I had a choice all I would install in any Commerical space would be carpet tile. The end user really comes out a winner spending a little more up front {When You work on a % that means higher profits}And you have a happy customer that will send more your way.
