So, I finally finished this 1000sf job (the one I did the Rh testing on).

The owner could not stand living in the small bedroom until the remodel for the other rooms got finished...its long from even being started so he had me install the hardwood now, even though half of it may get demo'd. Millionaires...whatcha gonna do? Roll Eyes

So here is the deal. I was using Chemrex CX-1000 and ran out 100sf before I finished. I happened to find an old bucket of Bostiks Best that had been in storage for a year. lol Yeah thats right. Since this may get demo'd soo anyway I decided to use the old Bostiks.

This is going to be fun demo'ing it so I can really get an idea of how strong a bond this Chemrex is as compared to the Bostik's.

I was a little scared using the glue at first. The plug was very hard to get out cus some dummy did not have it upside down.

But it stuck well indeed. The back part of this room and a couple others are getting partially demo'd come December.

Love dark wood.
Dark wood shows everything... little dings and dents and dust... peaked ends, un-even sub-floors.. everything is magnified...

Good for us inspectors !!

Not this one you wont. It's got beveled edges, handscraped with dings and dents supplied by the manufacture!

After doing 5" handscraped for what seems like 2 years now, I get a 2¼ x 5/16 glue down, today. OUCH!!

Seems like I was spinning wheel and getting nowhere.

No, the fireplace and bathroom is going out another twenty feet with part of the smaller bedrooms becoming one and a bunch of other stuff This is the place with all the brick pavers he wants demo'd as well. I may be working there for months.

Perry, I finished a three inch a couple weeks ago. I know what you mean.

No Chebbies in my driveway. I did have a '75 Maverick I bought for $100 from my neighbor. I stripped some parts etc. Gave it to a friend so he could scrap it. So it's pure Mopar out there now.

Gee even got one with electric windows! Razzer The '79 Maxivan turns 30 next month, it probably has close to 300,000 on it. The 74 Dart 4 door? It looks low mileage bought it a few months ago. The '72 Duster has almost 70K on it!

The '93 D350 dually will roll 300K on it in a few months.

I think Tony Stewart (Home Depot) drives a Toyota now.

Is the Dart a Dart Sport with the scoop on the hood and a 340?

They make great funny cars I hear.
