Here is a scrap of the plank. Comes in wood grain or tile like planks. I was impressed with the tile look. Three foot by 1 foot planks...surface area.

Note the extended edge that has glue on it. the opposing edges have glue underneath. Basically you pull them outa the box and stick them together.

OK did you grasp that concept? Good.

I have inspected a few of these installations where it got too hot and the planks seperated and did not stay together. I just did about 1200 ft of this stuff.

Now try and do this at 70F. You can't. But you can at 85F.

Actually this is pretty ingenious manufacturing I must say. The top and bottom layers are glued together, same siz but just offset to overlap.

Just do not let this get over 90F. I think you will have problems. And that glue is some sticky stuff.

The bottom torn off corner actually stuck to my shoe when pulling on it.

Found some pics of one I inspected awhile ago. I think the installer did not roll it. HD employee side job.

Plus the consumer left the manufactured home closed up with no AC on.

Oh yeah, there was no AC anyway. See that box on the roof? That my friends is an evaporative cooler, also known as a swamp box.
And see that hill in the background?

That is Mehico on the other side.

Lots of Konecto being sold.

Allure is the bottom price point/quality being sold by Metroflor to HD.
The bottomline for private dealers is Country and is supposedly slightly better quality then the Allure line but with only a few skus.

Both aren't worth the money in my opinion.

And yes they are temp sensitive. Climate control is needed.
