Hello one and all i am new to this forum,however i am happy to be here and hope i will be for quite sometime.I have a few questions for you seinor professionals i know the residential aspects of this flooring installation business the commercial side i have always avoided. iam now involved with a new company that likes the commercial end and would like me to work along with them but i have no idea of pricing such things as rubber treads vinyl tile installation, floor prep ect i would appreciate any help that i can get i have stranded in California in a boat without a paddle

When venturing into uncharted territory I use a simple system. I think of a fair number- then double it. That's my price.

Zeebest, you'll find out after you loose a few bids. Big Grin Wink
You could do what I do, when in doubt call the biggest commercial outfit out there, tell them you have a small store and would like a quote and fax them a diagram. Put on the drawing what you need to know.They may tell you the prep price may vary until actually seen. Circle spots that need varying degrees of leveling like the bid on the job your bidding on.

Works every time.
