I have not seen the adhesive here at the sundry supply stores. Anyone know who is selling it in Phoenix or who the distributor is?
And....I recieved my sample advertisement in the mail. It feels like the Chemrex CX-1000 and the Taylor Plus. Is it the same basic silicone type formula?
It does however say to do a CaCl test prior to use.
I guess you use them then. I have an adhesive line item and clearly I have higher margins when I supply but if you want to use it just have your customer order it with their floor purchase.

Its 340 to 360 dollars for a four gallon pail. Thats why the distributor in Phoenix is sitting on 70+ pails and is not going to distribute it any longer after the stock is gone.
I could sell it!! If they need a moisture barrier, they are going to pay for MVP/WFM, and my adhesive, or the 960.
I just have to sell them the benefits of a faster install, but the adhesive is expensive. "Ma'am, the 960 comes out a little more, but you don't have to pay my labor to apply it and also, wait that extra 2 days, to apply it, and then to let it cure, before wood goes down".

Thats about it really Perry. If...and if they are in a time constraint. Usually that is not the case. But I could see it saving time in commercial applications and fast track homes.
I charge up to fitty cent a sqft for the application of MVP so it makes no big deal to me. And according to Bostik tech dept the MVP?BB combo application can withstand up to 21 lbs. Stauf is only good for up to 12 lbs.
Don't forget you're locked into that funky trowel- one per bucket. Of course when it fails they'll check their records to see how many you bought then tell you your trowel was worn.

If you seen my custom notched trowels, you would Shit yourself.
Last time I used a trowel that the glue manufacture recommended, (Taylor 2071) I fought the hollow, pull the board and back butter, syndrome. I finally went and got my custom notched trowel.

I don't know if they give you one but require you to use one.
I like v-notched trowels- #12 is good, switch midsteam to #14 or even #27 if really necessary.
I think I read somewhere that stauf required a 60 mil membrane. Seems awfully thick.

Gee, thanks for the advice SuperPro. I guess it's better to drill holes and pump the crap in through the top or tell the client the hollow sound is ok cause mickey moore says so.
