have you ever noticed, that some people, when confronted with truth about themselves or their organizations, always try to change the subject and make the topic about the person who is right by making personal attacks on him?

If I was so wrong about things, no one would read it, listen to me, or respond to me,,,,,but, by the personal attacks, I know, I scored a direct him each time, and guys, I guess, they think so little of us they think all of us don't know that? Very insulting to the inspectors, but then, look at what they may have gotten away with in the past.....so, guess I was right again with my recent post....thanks,,,,thanks for confirming I was right,,,,

Ray Darrah, you wouldn't know the truth, if it smacked you right in the face!!!

When the site owner changed everyones usernames without notification, Mr. Wright asked to be removed from the site. All posts with his name are gone, like he was never there. Mr. Kern understood and honored Mr. Wrights request. There is only one forum, where Mr. Wright uses his real name, for a reason. The reason is not to be discussed openly, only with the commissioning parties involved.

There was no letter in an open forum, announcing to the world, Floorguy is no longer posting there, unlike Ray Darrah and Linda Lockwood, had composed in their behalf.

I only consider it spamming when the poster is doing it for financial gain. I don't see other owners of "pro" forums going around spamming other flooring forums, do you? Oh, sorry there is some of that still going on huh. Many people do not know the true definition of spam like you for instance.

Besides excec's Randy, many people go to www.floorbiz.com to find jobs, post jobs, read and learn from the articles written there and read the latest manufacturing news.

It's been there probably longer than you have been posting on forums.

And FYI, Steve...the owner of www.ifloor.com advertised there when he first started out. Do the math.

just a thought, to keep in mind, that saying you are professional does not equate to ethical values. and, ethical values does not mean, honesty, truth, and goodness. you can not have those qualities and still have ethical values, just ones that are anti all the qualities we have always defined men and women as good.
so, stating 'professionalism' only means you accept the money for services rendered,,,,does not mean, they are good people.
you can be dishonest, a lair, a thief and worse, and those are your ethical values.
so please, when some people sprout off about 'acting professional' they are trying to divert attention away from their brand of professionalism,,,

I think you're switching personal values with ethical values Lee.
Ethical is always a good thing.
Personal values are determined by the individual.

I maybe confusing the adverbs or nouns,,,,and you are right, ethics, our personal values reflect our ethics or our ethics represent our personal or maybe even religious ethical values,,,

to me, it can sound confusing but is not,,,
but back to my attempt on that post,,,
some people "pull out" the term professionalism whenever they want to attempt to discredit people by slander when it is not true...
some people, are amoral when it comes to money, the hired killer for example,,,,but, he is a professional. Do we consider, in our society, his actions moral? ethical? even normal? Yet, many of them take pride in their "professionalism". So, when these types of people hide behind "professionalism" are they trying to use it as a blind or cover to hide their actions?
You have people saying they are the "instructors" but, do they instruct with quality programs or just take your money?
So, are they ethical? by whose standards? Some people have no values or think there are no ethics when it comes to money, making money. Change a report as is well known about an inspection in Ohio that went legal, where the owner of the company was upset the inspector had given the court, under court orders, all his notes and the original report he had written! he wanted the inspector to lie to the court and disobey a court order,,,to protect his financial interest, that is, making money....that person post here under many different names....was that right? or ethical by our society standards? and, his demands the inspector not obey the court orders by a judge place that inspector in danger of jail! that showed a complete lack of consideration for that man and his family.

So, to many, in our current society, lie, steal, cheat, disobey court orders, cheat friends, the list can go on forever, but, as they take the money they get by any means, they are, "professionals"....and anybody who wants people in our business to have "good ethics" and "good values" that reflect virtue, honor and goodness, they yell, "professionalism" because such things as goodness, virtue and goodness are asked for and discussed...they hide from virtue, goodness and honor because they have none??

There is a guy here that is just like that...Gary "Mr. Seam Perfect" Bitner.
He feels what he does is right and has no problem screwing someone over, he makes friends fast, and then screws them hard. His daddy, who was a flooring guy too, taught him that and his dad praised him for doing it and learning how it is done, and he does it well. He only feels success when he pulls a fast one. You cannot believe a word that comes from his mouth. He feels justified and his motto "greed, live and die by it" And sees nothing unethical about it. He calls it business.

the shame is, we are judged by people like him, and worse, people like this like to keep promoting their brand of business to keep it coming, and use any means to satisfy their greed, and that means, doing their best to keep honesty, pride, dignity and good hard work from being seen and valued by our customers, and to do that, they have set up organizations, and companies, any means necessary, to hide the truth from our customers,,,,and, from past personal conversations, they are actually gleeful about it,,,,and think we are pitiful, and, "non-professional",,,oh well,,,you Sir, hit it right on the nail and explained it much better than I,,,,he is like the Sioux stealing horses, to them, it was ok, right, and honorable, to us white dudes, it was bad,,,,I guess he was taught to be that way, and will never understand the harm he does.

You should see the people now asking about floorbiz now they are kicked off! they are signing up each day...
