CTL,
is that the company Howard K. works for or owns?

if so, at the NWFA inspector school he gave an all day class on concrete, or, was it 3/4 day?

anyway, it was good, interesting and informative,,,and I am sure he charged a lot,

if that is not his company, well, this guy did work for someone! Smiler

I got to go have some fun

I for one watched the videos that bullitt referenced on the wagner site;;;;rapid rh page links to the left I think. They explain it all very well. The rh test is testing the air trapped below the sensor. The air below the sensor gains its rh very quickly;;;even more quickly then the other reusable probes since there is less air around the sensor. Its much like testing the rh in the air around you only it is down in the slab.
I think bullitts #1 test did not seat correctly or there was some loose concrete down there.

gotta run

Nobody thought you were a speaker... not for one single solitary minute would anybody consider you as an expert in any field of the Industry....... ........... but wait !!! We're talking about an Industry Function that was for profit and the need to get bodies to the function for appearance sake !!
Well,,, did you pay the man to attend and speak??
If you were a speaker;;; what did you receive as compenstation?

If you were a speaker for Dan, prove it !! You're not on any list and your name is not mentioned anywhere.

Thank you Stain. I'll go watch the video on the link.

I still don't understand what Rh in the slab relates to the water contained in the slab...
And I still want to know if the temp was 72f....

The stainmiester might just be correct. I checked it agin just yesterday and monday before covering them up with wood. Temp was still at 72F -73F which pretty remained constant...ac going and the rh was moving between 77 and 78.

Since it was my first three I guess I need to be more diligent about inserting the sensors.

Bullitt,
I would think it wise to maintain a data base logging results for purpose of finding averages. With this information you can determine out of ordinary results to give an indication of error.

It seems strange that a slab temperature, 2" depth, is 72f.... but that could very well be the average for your area...
