I remember playing at the train trestle where the last back boy, yes, a boy, a teenager, was lynched in Laurens, SC.

I remember when JFK was shot, men walking around town saying it was good that "N" lover was killed.

I remember watching them look for those boys the KKK killed trying to resister people to vote,,,

I remember the little girls blown up and burned to death at the church,,,

the church burnings,,,

I remember 45 records the KKK would hand out around town,,,,

I remember seeing the photos the police would hand out where the KKK had lynched and burned alive black men and women,,,

I remember the KKK riding thru town to meetings at the fair grounds, burning crosses,

tonight, is kind of special for me to watch.

WOW, what an amazing speech. I cannot wait for Obama to pummel McBush in a debate. McBush should just give it up now.

1. For anybody in the flooring biz, as slow as work has been for installers and inspectors, to continue to support the failed policies of AssBushole is stupid. And, McCant says everything AssBushole has done is ok and the country is fine, shows he is stupid.

2. Today, McCant admitted by his VP choice, he knows he can't win. Any responsible candidate would not chose someone like that to take over in case of illness or death, therefore, McCant knows he can't win.

3. 48 Million Americans without health insurance or a path to health care. Children in poor school districts eat their only healthy meal at the school. Teachers in those districts are taking pay cuts and there are no computers, much less paper or pencils, yes, no paper or pencils! and McCant says everything is fine.

4. McCant, chose a beauty queen for a running mate, umm, well, mating is correct, I am sure he getting some monica because Mrs. McCant sure won't.

5. The bigots are already handing out "cartoons" with big lips and noses around here, and using that as an example, that shows how far backward this country has gone in the last 8 years, and McCants promises four more just like the last 8.....shame on Americans who vote for McCants.

Obama sure put on a good show.

Believe it or not, The 2 candidates are very similar on the issues. One issue where they differ is how to defend our nation, and how to do that.

I like them both about equally. Have not made up my mind until I see a few debates.

I'm voting for the woman who will be the first Female President of the United States.

The VP choice is very transparent. It shows they think they are in trouble...so go get a female...any female to help McBush. Same ole policys, same old same old.

One more thing....Bush is ranting about McCains military background. But remember the last election where McCain was running against Bush and Bush called into question McCains military record in a debate...and now is complimenting his military record??? Can You Say Hypocrites????

And then they arrested Amy Goodman from Democracy Now. The republicants arrest legitimate protestors with falsified warrents and go into their homes and take computers. This is free speech?

The democratic convention was a big production show, it my get an Emmy Award. The speech tonight from our next Vice President hit home for so many without sugar coating it or exaggerating for the feel.

I have no doubt if she does unfortunately become our President, if anything happens to McCain, she will be better for our great nation, then anything I have seen from the Democratic Parties offerings. I think she and McClain are more middle of the road, then way over on the Republican side of things.

You really can't vote for a party, Dem or Rep, to be American, you have to vote for the best person for the task, your asking and begging them to do.

The Dem convention, basically told me, all that was just a big show, with no substance to hold onto after the lights went out. It seemed to be a big sales pitch. Tell them what they want to hear and not the truth.

With all the other networks carrying the convention, it makes no sense for NBC to be forced to show the game early just so they can carry McBush's speech.

Interesting. Palin's speech had no substance what so ever that I heard. Just the usual hype I already knew. She dwelled on McCains POW thing most all the way through. You know....the thing that Pres Bush said made him a bad choice for president last election????
My wife feels insulted by them picking her, and so does every other woman I have spoken to about it. She can read a teleprompter pretty good though.

You guys are right. We need a President without Credentials and a Vice President that was all about a voting record of:
1. Increase taxes on EVERYBODY.
2. Increased spending.
3. He voted for increased taxes everytime and increased spending.
4. He votes to increase government at every opportunity.

We need Obama as President:
1. He spent 5 years, from age 5 to 10, at a Muslim School in a Muslim Country.
2. His mother is white, married two black Muslim men, and raised by grandparents for a few years.
3. Where is Obama's mom?
4. Where is Obamas' Father?
5. Where is Obama's 1/2 brother?

Obama is a constitutional lawyer. That in itself makes me feel at ease. Much better than the republicans who covertly attack or freedom of speech and right to protest. Yes, the right to protest is in the ? ammendment?

The text of the First Amendment provides for “the right of the people peaceably to assemble.”

The on top of that if you protested the Iraqi qae you were labeled a traitor and friend of the terrorists. Not the kind of America I invision or its leaders.
