What the hell do you expect to see?? batters use their same cleats on the batting cages as they do on the GRASS field. Why would you not see green?? Dummy Dummy Dummy Dummy

I did not, for a moment, think you would see the color transfer Mike and this thread was not pointed in your direction. I know color is not your expertise and that's o.k. |

I'll not give you a bad time anymore Mike. I won and don't need to continue the "besting" anymore...
The claim was: Green color transfer to the baseballs.. There are two turfs here. 1. The installed turf. 2. Matts with batters box and home plate loose layed on top of the installed turf. Wet Crocking tests found green transfer from the Matts. First time I've found color transfer from solution dyed polypropylene yarn system. I think the matts are painted with the white and more green??? |

you so big on this crocking test thing,
question, anything that can make that happen to the yarn that is not manufacturing related? lets go over that,,,,lets make a list,,,this is serious now, list everything that can affect yarn/fiber to make it loose dye or better, also include color, and fading. Manufacturing cleaning environmental specification any other headings to put there? |

You have not found green transfer from the poly matt's. You have found green grass color tracked onto the poly, then transfered to the rag. Use your reason man, if you going to guess eliminate the impossible, and what ever is left, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. By the way I hear they paint the grass green in FL to make it look better. Mike Too old to rock and roll, too young to die. |

If we are to be "neutral" inspectors we must obtain information and data as well as perform field tests and record the results. No matter what the situation is, the test results and data are to lead us to a conclusion no matter what. If the test results defy logic and the results are impossible, that just means there must be something we are not aware of or not knowledgeable. On this inspection; I tested and recorded the results, and photographed the results. I sent in the report and photos and later called the manufacturer. I put in no responsible party because I'm not familiar with the "Batters box Matt" business. I concluded that there was color transfer and isolated that transfer to the Matts. I Learned from the Client that the transfer is not only possible, but likely and is not considered a defect in the matts. They paint and color the matts and it is the paint/coloring that transfers. As inspectors we must write down what we see and record test results without letting our minds skew those results. Observe - Test - Record and not judge using logic or perceived knowledge... There is just too much we don't know to say "no, impossible". |

you continue to display the inability to engage in intellectual discussion proving your inabilities.
resorting to childish name calling combined with the inability to enter into discussion when given opportunity, is glaring evidence of low self-esteem and low I.Q. Investigative Flooring Inspectors have a job to do and the job is over your head. Please stay out of the Industry and discontinue your proclamations as being in the Industry. Your proclomations do not overcome your obvious ignorance. |

Let me think,
if it is a poly, means no dye sites, green painted on? that means, if it rubs off, it will leave the original color of the yarn or it will be lighter,,,where the paint was rubbed off when compared to where it was not rubbed off, so, now, lets move forward with the observations, you two, |

What is a lie? Be specific, please. Mike: Do you think they tufted the WHITE lines and Plate on those matts? Did your father marry your sister? |

Well, you know I'm trying to get Ray to help, but he just stammers on the phone saying what sounds like uhnnnnn, nnnnnno, uhhhhhnnnnnn nnnnnno. Then in the background i hear what sounds like a parrot schreeching 'No certs", No certs"
I don't know without Ray's advise I may not get it off the ground. I don't have much experience screwing people around, and Ray knows how to do that, but he isn't helping much. Guess I'll just have to resort to some of his established habits on the boards. Mike Too old to rock and roll, too young to die. |
