Craig, thank you for the kind words, however you are buying into Mrs. Snow, and Mrs. Fred's assertions that I have no industry recognized certs. I in fact have several, some that I do not even discuss anymore. In this world of inspections, associating yourself with one group or another can cost you work. Not by any failure on your part, but by your associates. The pertenet word in all this independent.

Mike is certified,
actually, so is Stephen,,,,
they just like to see the guy rant and rave,,,,he also likes to rant and rave,,,,

they both like to think they are making the other guy mad,,,,

they both actually do get mad,

they are really so much alike in some ways, that is what rubs them raw, well, Mike and "that guy", but,,,

Stephen is like no one else I have ever met!

slt

Consulting is far more lucrative and challenging. Anybody can install floors just by following manufacturer directions.
The difference between great installers and Hacks is the TOOLS and ability to read instructions. ... But mainly it's the tools..

Lee, is correct, and if I quote industry stabndards and manufactures installation giudelnes...documented with pictures and site testing how is it I will loose in court just because I am not certified? You joking right?
The reason they like to use me for wood is because reps and mill anylists found out he does not know what the hell he is talking about.
I guess that goes back to accounting, I think they do keep track don't they?

That inspector you are referring to is placing his resume at Retail Stores searching for a job. (Reliable source called yesterday after he was called as a reference).

Good inspectors who do the job correctly are still working. Those not doing the job correctly are searching for jobs.
I gotta admit: the percentage of inspectors knowing what they are doing is up there with installers...

The good news? The economic times is cleaning up the Inspection and Installation Communities as only the good guys/girls will survive and we can raise our fees.

Right after 9-11, I was the busiest I have ever been.
Right now it is on track to surpass that nonstop hellbent action. I have not had a day off in months. Been working weekends just to keep the schedule in line. The bank account is building, but now I have no time to spend it. I'm going to raise my pricing for the 5th time this year, to see if that eases the schedule a little.

Yeah right! LMAO!!

You are wrong, its all about the skill. Thats why you think all installers are alike.

You can have crappy old tools and be an artisian. You can have great new tools, the cleanest truck and be very organized and still be a hack.

You know nothing.

You must be thinking of someone else. He is an IICRC Master Cleaner/Inspector. He does a pretty good business cleaning. I don't know why on earth he thinks he can inspect hardsurface......oh I know why....the IICRC said he can if he just reads a book and takes a test.

Well, Sunday I worked into the night, because I had a different project scheduled for Monday & Tuesday, But mostly 7 days.

Accepted??? Do I have to feed you crow, once again? Don't you get tired of spitting out feathers???

Two of my Certs, you will never in a million years be able to obtain. It took you 3 times at the NWFA test, to pass it, LOL!!!! I have not laughed so hard in a long time, after hearing that. That was the easiest test I have taken for a Cert. How's that NOFMA test going for you?? Hahahahaha!!

I work for myself.

When Valentines Day Rolls around, I will not only be coordinating the deliveries, but I will be filling arrangements and washing buckets.

Sorry, I passed on the first try.. so whomever made that statement to you was a liar... You obviously hang out with honorable people. Where is your NWFA Certification? You are not listed on the site.
What certs do you have that you are so proud of and continue to claim you have? If you are talkig about a pipe inspector certification; you're right.... i'll never have that.
Smiler

and there is nothing shameful about delivering flowers for your wife. In fact; I think it is good you help her when she needs the extra help.

I love the Handle "STAIN"...

that is a name that could mean anything... good, bad, nasty, or not.. Smiler

One thing for sure: Stain is profit... Smiler

Relentless has Certs. outside the flooring industry, although he has been to Howards class and I think they give you a cert.
And he's WRIGHT again: I'll never have that certification although I went to the First Course held in Dalton, but did not take his test (nor wood eye take the test for purpose of a phony Cert that is not recognized by ANYBODY) !! Smiler

Ray, I'm listed at the NWFACP site and the consumers site. I'm not a paying member of the NWFA, so I'm not listed on the members site.

http://www.nwfacp.org/findCpResults.aspx?cpType=CWFI&id...aram1=Austin¶m2=

Are you saying ED, Don, & Sherry are liars?? Did you not read the code of conduct thoroughly??
CFI
ITSFC
FSC
CCA
NWFA
Shaw

And Ray has FCITS which is not recognized by anyone important and finally the NWFA
