Preview the new Flooring Installer .com website

Hello everyone,
Im doing 1000 sq. ft. of porcelain tile the slab has that nasty black cutback on it. I was planning on sanding it off with a 17" disk sander any other suggestions ? The contractor also wants me to bring the floor up to meet some height restrictions. That would mean I would have to bring the concrete height up approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" at places whats the best way and material to float the floor to those heghts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
